Platform

Platform is the deployment and operations layer that every Omnitouch product runs on. It is the orchestration, configuration and shared infrastructure tooling that turns a collection of network functions into a single supportable system — the same stack our engineers and our customers' engineers use to ship changes to production.

What it covers

  • Ansible Orchestration (Omnitouch_Core) — the canonical deployment framework for every NF in OmniCore CS, OmniCore 4G EPC, OmniCore 5GC, OmniCall and OmniCharge. Idempotent role-based playbooks, environment-aware inventories and built-in upgrade/rollback patterns let an operator move from a staging slot to production with a single command.
  • OmniLCS — the Location Services platform that spans CS (MAP-based ATI/PSL), 4G (SLh/SLg) and IMS, providing positioning support for emergency calling, regulatory location and value-added services.
  • Shared observability and configuration tooling — logging, metrics and config-as-code primitives consumed by every product line, so operators see a single coherent view of their network rather than per-NF dashboards.

Why it lives on its own

Every Omnitouch deployment depends on this layer, but it isn't a product line operators "buy" in isolation — it's the substrate that makes the rest of the catalogue deployable, upgradeable and supportable at carrier scale. Surfacing it as a first-class category makes it discoverable for the engineers who actually operate the network, and ensures cross-cutting components like OmniLCS — which legitimately spans CS, 4G EPC and IMS — have a clear home rather than being tucked under one of the product-line categories.
